About Project

Hman Nan Monastery School currently has only one school building comprising four classrooms, with the remaining classes being conducted in temporary structures. The school provides education from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and serves over 450 students. Among them are boarders from mountainous regions who both live and study at the school. The student body includes 132 novices and 59 nuns. The female students, however, reside at other nunneries and commute to this school for their studies.

Due to the lack of sufficient local middle schools, students from two nearby primary schools—each about 40 minutes away—come to continue their middle school education at Hman Nan School. Given these circumstances, a two-storey school building with six classrooms was constructed and donated to support the educational needs of the students.
